Leadership

David Crowe came on staff at South Orlando in April of 2014. He has a Master’s of Divinity in Missions and a Doctorate of Ministry in Expository Preaching – both from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Dave has served churches in Nevada, Kentucky, and Florida since March of 2000. Dave has also taught evangelism, expository preaching, and on the Holy Spirit at seminaries and Bible colleges in Guatemala and in closed countries in Asia. In addition to his international teaching, Dave has helped lead more than 20 international mission trips all over the world. Dave is married to Ginny Crowe, and together they have four boys, Elijah, Jonah, Gabriel, and Malachi. Ginny graduated from Boyce Bible College in 2003, and she has a passion for leading the four boys in their homeschool education. 

J. Mark Anthony White, known as J, was born and raised in Orlando and joined the SOBC team in May 2024. He has served at churches in Texas, Virginia, and Ohio, which have shaped him into a multicultural leader and multigenerational musician. J is passionate about coaching and equipping others for the work of ministry. Recently, he has expanded his influence through social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram, where he teaches thousands of musicians how to play hymns and gospel music. Beyond local outreach, J has taken part in mission trips around the world. Including places like Japan, South Africa, and Belgium. He has shared the stage with renowned artists such as Kirk Franklin, Fred Hammond, and The Clark Sisters. On June 25, 2024, J celebrated 30 years of marriage to his wife and best friend, Juanita, and together they have raised three beautiful adult daughters.

Kiara began serving as our church secretary in 2024.
