Michael joined South Orlando Baptist Church staff in November of 2021. He studied at Columbia International University, Boyce College, and Luther Rice Seminary. Michael has served on staff of Student Campus Ministries and in Churches in Florida, South Carolina, Kentucky, Colorado, and California before coming to South Orlando Baptist. He has had the privilege to share the good news of Jesus in 12 countries around the world. While serving on a short term mission trip to Papua New Guinea, he met Beth. Michael and Beth married in June of 2000 and have served Jesus joyfully across the nation together. They have been blessed with 8 amazing children, Emily, Will, Abigail, Ella, Joey, Lydia, Julianne, and Peter. They have grown up serving in the church with their parents as North American Mission Board, Church Planters for most of their lives. Michael is excited to be here in Orlando, FL serving Jesus, the students, and families of South Orlando Baptist Church and the city.
