Working through the book of Acts led us to see the first Christian Martyr – Stephen – in Acts 7. Christianity has survived almost 2000 years of persecution and discrimination. Countless Martyrs have given their lives for the Gospel to reach the ends of the earth. In our times, many unsung heroes have given their lives to take the Gospel message to the unreached. Safe for kids age 7 and up, this series will appeal to adults and children alike and will inspire and encourage you in your faith.

Keeping Christians informed with news and stories about modern Martyrs from around the world, Voice of the Martyrs provides many ways to help assist the families of Christians who have lost a loved one to martyrdom. You can get their magazine for a small donation and stay updated with all of the countries in the world where Christianity is outlawed.
This classic book tells the stories of Martyrs from the time of the book of Acts all the way through the Reformation. Suitable for older high school age and up, this book will inspire you with amazing historical tales of the Martyrs and their heroic deeds.
4. The Desiring God Biography Series
Written by pastor John Piper, many of these stories involve Martyrs and their heroic stories. These stories have also been compiled in book form (Click Here to see) and should be on the shelves of every Christian home. The book is available for free download or purchase.
