Welcome to our Nursery

This ministry includes both infant and toddler care. Its purpose is to honor God with loving child care, and provide care-free worship and study for mom and/or dad. This ministry is available 15 minutes before scheduled services and special events as needed: Sunday School; Morning Worship; Life University; Choir Rehearsal (Wednesday); Women’s Morning Bible Study (Thursday).

We at South Orlando Baptist welcome you and your Newborn to 3 year old child to the Nursery. Our desire is to care for your child in a secure atmosphere of love and warmth while you are attending Sunday School or one of our Worship Services.

We are in urgent need for volunteers:

Please Prayerfully consider serving in one of the following areas:

First and foremost we need a Nursery Director. Michelle Swope will be stepping down as our director, effective June 1. Please contact the church office for a job description.  You might be surprised at what the job really entails.

• 1st Sunday: 1 volunteer for the bed baby room
• 3rd Sunday: 1 volunteer for the 2 year old room & 1 volunteer for the 3′s & 4′s
• 4th Sunday: 2 volunteers for the bed baby room
• 5th Sunday(4 times a year): 1 volunteer for the bed baby room & 1 volunteer for the 2 year old room

There is a nursery news bulletin board outside the bed baby room.  We’re looking for volunteers to deep clean the toys and walls in the nursery.  If anyone can help, please call Michelle Swope at 407-816-5035.
