2017 Bible Reading Plan
For the 2017 Bible Reading Plan, we have chosen the popular One Year Bible reading plan. This is the most popular plan that has led more people through the entire Bible better than any other approach. Each day provides a reading from the New Testament, Old Testament, Psalms, and Proverbs.
To utilize this plan, please read from the various options below:
- Grab a print copy from the office or church lobby (We also have large print available). Place the copy in your Bible and use daily. This approach will allow you to read the plan in a Bible version of your choice.
- Use our church app (Available starting on January 1, 2017) Our app is available in all app stores – just search for South Orlando Baptist Church. The One Year Bible plan has been programmed into our church app for daily use. Simply open the app and touch on the day’s reading. If you touch on the day’s reading, you can touch the audio button on the bottom of the screen and the app will read the day’s Bible reading out loud to you. Our app has only has access to the English Standard Version (ESV), an excellent Bible translation for reading and serious study.
- Read the plan in the Bible App by Youversion/Life.church. This option would allow you to read the plan in a version of your choice. Once in the app, touch the “plans” button and choose “discover.” Search for “The One Year Bible” and select “The One Year ® Bible” plan. After setting up this plan, this app will help to remind you when you fall behind and can help you catch up on missed readings.
- Download the PDF version of the plan and use on your tablet or phone. Click here for the regular plan and click here for the large print version.
- Purchase a One Year Bible on Amazon in the translation of your choice. This gives you a stand-alone print version of this plan that you can use solely for reading this plan.
